Through cooperation with Tsinghua university ring wellong has developed one new of high-tech green environment-friendly prouct ,Laser ceramic enhanced particles composite coating piston, Which applys laser melt and laser suface reasearch teachnology .the ceramic composite layer which completely integrate the piston ring layer with the matrix meterial through metallurgical processing can significantly improve piston ring integrated mechanical performance, and enhance engine life, reduced exhaust and fuel consumption.The capablity of the product has exceeded the ordinary chromium plating and molybdenum spayed pistong rings and the product can completely verplace the imported;the teachnical lever is initiative in domestic and advanced in international.
Currently, the project has applied for the national invention patent application (patent name : new piston ring processing techniques, application NO.: 200410065856.3), paseed the initial examination oraginized by the State Intellectual Property Office, and got the independent intellectual property rights.

2、Laser ceramic enhanced particles composite coating piston ring main technical indexes :
- Surface hardness is HV0.2=850-1400
- The alloyed layer of ceramics is 0.10-0.25mm deep
- The friction coefficient is f=0.070-0.085
- matrix materials with strengthening layer fully integrated metallurgical
- The size of the reinforced phase of ceramic grains is of micron grade and that these ceramic grains are interspersed in the alloyed matrix material of FeCSiB as the main supportive phase of the friction surface. The transition phase of Austenite is conducive to the storage of lubricants.
Compared with the current widespread use of and chromium plating and molybdenum sprayed in the same conditions, the abrasion loss of piston ring and cylinder liner is significantly reduced and the friction coefficient can fall down over 40%, and showed excellent resistance to abrasion and compatibility nature.The piston ring has distinguished performance advantage lies on its good metallurgical integrarion of strengthening layer and piston ring matrix material, stable inner structure, resistance to abrasion feature over molydbenum piston ring,resistance to bone feature over chromium-plated piston ring. Therefore, laser enhanced composite ceramic particles which can greatly improve piston ring itself and engine life extension, prolong overhaul mileage, and reduce user repair costs, lower motor fuel consumption is the ideal accessory product of cars, light or heavy trucks.
